The combination of art of the Vikings and modern images, reflects the meeting
and contrasts of two different time periods. Also, it presents a critic of the political
situation in Denmark. Here – like in most european countries - people are afraid of
loosing their national identity. This opens up a fundamental question, what really is
Danish identity? For example, the runicstone „Jellingestenen“, which is an important
part of the Danish history, might ironically have been made by an Irish.
